It is very evident that there is a need to differentiate
the teaching of
Latin based languages (Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese)
from the teaching of Anglo-Saxon based languages. With this in mind,
Plan Latino was launched as an extension of Plan Idiomas,
specializing in teaching Latin based languages
Teaching a Brazilian a foreign language with the same roots as
Portuguese has its positive and negative aspects: it may seem easier
but at the same time it can “fool” the student.
For this reason, our course focuses on the specific difficulties of the
Brazilian as they learn these languages while taking advantage of the
similarities.
Our teachers are native speakers of the languages which they teach,
however, they comprehend and speak Portuguese. This is an important
aspect in order to understand the student’s difficulties.
We develop a methodology and didactical material specific for the
needs and interest of each student.
We offer services for group classes or individual classes in the same
fashion as the other languages.
